All Hallows’ Eve - Faith is contagious - what person gave you yours? Sunday is All Hallows’ Eve, the day before All Saints' Day, and we would like it to have a special "saintly" spin. Come dressed as someone whose faith has shaped or inspired your own. It may be someone you know personally, someone from the Bible, or a historic or public figure. Caution - you never know when your own faith might be spreading to someone else!

Election Day Bake Sale - On Tuesday, Nov. 2, the Women’s Association will hold a day-long bake sale as the NPC Great Hall serves as a polling site for the election. We need baked goods and volunteers to help that day. Please sign up in the narthex on Sunday if you can help.

Love God/ Love Neighbor Group from The Clearing - Laura and members of the Clearing group (Sarah Chauncey, Kathleen Fahmi, Juli Schaefer, and Jim Uleman) invite anyone interested to join us this summer to explore loving God and loving our neighbors - friendly strangers right in our neighborhoods - more deeply. We plan on meeting regularly this summer, and sharing ways of engaging both God and those around us. Our first meeting will be Sunday, June 13, at 8:15 AM, before worship. Annual Picnic -
The annual church picnic will be held after worship on Sunday, June 20. This year’s picnic will be potluck, rather than hot dogs and hamburgers. Families with last names from A to L are asked to bring a main course dish; those from M to Z are asked to bring a salad or dessert. Lemonade and iced tea will be provided. There is a sign-up sheet outside the church office.

Juice and snacks will be served. Donation is $8 per family and proceeds will benefit the Jawonio Early Childhood Education Services.

Living the Questions– A new section of in this adult study series will be offered next Sunday at 11:30 AM in the parlor and will continue for an additional three weeks through March 8. We will explore how both modern biblical scholarship and science can enrich an active Christian faith journey.

Ash Wednesday Women’s Retreat – All women of the church are invited to an Ash Wednesday Retreat at Stony Point Conference Center from 10:30 AM to 1 PM on February 17. “Praying through Lent with Heart, Soul, Mind and Body” is the theme.
