General Assembly - The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) meets July 3-10 in Minneapolis. Delegates from all of the presbyteries will meet to discuss issues ranging from the church’s stance on peace in Israel and Palestine to changing our Book of Order to become more inclusive in ordination standards. Love God/ Love Neighbor Group from the Clearing - Laura and members of the Clearing group (Sarah Chauncey, Kathleen Fahmi, Juli Schaefer, and Jim Uleman) are meeting this summer to explore loving God and loving our neighbors - friendly strangers right in our neighborhoods - more deeply. We plan on meeting regularly and sharing ways of engaging both God and those around us. Upcoming dates will be announced.

Helping Hands Sock Swap - Do you need low-cut men’s socks? Due to an over supply of low cuts and a need for longer crew length socks, Ruth Wainwright has announced a “sock exchange.” Next Sunday you can trade a new pair of crew socks for a new pair of low cuts.

Love God/ Love Neighbor Group from the Clearing - Laura and members of the Clearing group (Sarah Chauncey, Kathleen Fahmi, Juli Schaefer, and Jim Uleman) are meeting this summer to explore loving God and loving our neighbors - friendly strangers right in our neighborhoods - more deeply. WA Lunch -The Women’s Association Board invites all the women of the church to its end-of-year meeting and lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday at Mia Cucina in Blauvelt. Please contact Carol Boyatsis to reserve a spot.

Annual Church Picnic - The potluck picnic will be held on Sunday after worship. If you have not signed up to bring your favorite dish, please do so outside the church office.

Helping Hands - There will be a Helping Hands run on Saturday and men’s underwear in all sizes is needed. Please contact Ruth Wainwright for information.

Love God/ Love Neighbor Group - Laura and members of the Clearing group (Sarah Chauncey, Kathleen Fahmi, Juli Schaefer, and Jim Uleman) invite anyone interested to join us this summer to explore loving God and loving our neighbors - friendly strangers right in our neighborhoods - more deeply. We plan on meeting regularly to share ways of engaging both God and those around us. Our first meeting will be on Sunday at 8:15 AM, before worship.

WA Lunch -The Women’s Association Board will hold its end-of-year meeting and lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 15, at Mia Cucina in Blauvelt. Please contact Adele Schnell to reserve a spot.

Annual Picnic - The church picnic will be held after worship on Sunday, June 20. This year’s picnic will be potluck. Families with last names from A to L are asked to bring a main course dish; those from M to Z are asked to bring a salad or dessert. There is a sign-up sheet outside the church office. Please specify what dish you plan to bring.

Save the Date - The annual Women's Association Summer Outing is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen. All women and men of NPC are invited to the event, which includes a tour and lunch. More information will follow.

Walk to Feed the Need - Nauraushaun will join Germonds Presbyterian Church for the walk next Sunday, June 6, at 1:30 PM at Kennedy Dells Park in New City. See Kathleen Fahmi or Mary Lee Wainwright for details.
